Basketball Recap: Grace Academy Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Grace Academy won the last time they faced Methodist Children's Home and things went their way on Friday too. Grace Academy took down the Methodist Children's Home Bulldogs 53-38. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grace Academy.

Leading Grace Academy to victory were Richmond McIver and Canyon Maxwell. McIver dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Maxwell went 5 for 9 en route to 16 points along with eight assists and five steals. The match was Maxwell's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Evan Hoyt was another key player, putting up ten points.

Methodist Children's Home lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Londen Bickham, who posted 21 points and four steals. That was a full 55.3% of Methodist Children's Home's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Olice Brown-Lynch, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 boards.
