North Tonawanda and Lockport are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2018, but not for long. The North Tonawanda Lumberjacks will be home for the holidays to greet the Lockport Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
North Tonawanda had to start their season on the road on Wednesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 64-38 walloping at the hands of Nichols.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Lockport, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-40 loss to Wilson last Tuesday.
North Tonawanda's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lockport, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-1.
