After a string of four wins, Kennedy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Hancock Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Crusaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
Kennedy actually scored more points across those three sets (68-66), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-19, 26-24.
Kennedy's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 9-3-1. As for Hancock, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.
