The Mound City Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Mound City and three for Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt].
Last Tuesday, Mound City suffered a tough 54-29 defeat at the hands of Rock Port. Mound City was down 41-17 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Meanwhile, Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt] came up short against Rock Port on Friday and fell 56-43.
Mound City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Nodaway Valley co-op [West Nodaway/Nodaway-Holt], they dropped their record down to 9-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
