The Ripon Christian Knights will face off against the Ripon Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Ripon Christian comes in on six and Ripon on four.
Ripon Christian is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing River Islands: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Ripon Christian blew River Islands out of the water with a 70-39 final score. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten games by 25 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Jake Vander Veen, who posted 17 points. The contest was his tenth in a row with at least ten points. Amos Cady was another key player, putting up 13 points.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ripon). They claimed a resounding 85-49 win over Orestimba. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Indians just coasted through the last quarter.
Ripon Christian better keep an eye on Marcus Madoski. He was instrumental in Ripon's win, going 11 of 16 en route to 25 points along with seven boards and five steals. Madoski is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 17 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Lefebvre, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Ripon was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.
Ripon Christian's victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.4 points per game. As for Ripon, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Ripon Christian and Ripon are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Ripon Christian hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 63.1 points per game. However, it's not like Ripon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 59.2 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Ripon Christian was able to grind out a solid win over Ripon in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 54-42. Will Ripon Christian repeat their success, or does Ripon have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
