Shenendehowa and Shaker are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Plainsmen will be playing at home against the Bison at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Shenendehowa 3.7, Shaker 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Shaker will be up against a hot Shenendehowa team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. The Plainsmen had just enough and edged out Kingston 5-3.

Noah Lam looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (four).
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ethan McTighe, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in hits (two). Another player making a difference was Aiden Thielke, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, Shaker fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Saratoga Springs on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Blue Streaks by a score of 4-3. The Bison haven't had much luck with the Blue Streaks recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Shaker also got a good showing from Daniel Cioffi, who struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit.
On the hitting side, Brendan McLoughlin was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.
Shenendehowa's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Shaker, their loss dropped their record down to 9-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Shenendehowa has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Shaker struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 11.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Shenendehowa couldn't quite get it done against Shaker in their previous matchup back in April as they fell 8-5. Will the Plainsmen have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
