Alex Nicholson Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Friday, Fort Bragg got the W thanks in part to Alex Nicholson playing the best football he has all season. Nicholson rushed for 221 yards and a touchdown while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (120.6) per game. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Nicholson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Upper Lake on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Nicholson saw the Cougars), he rushed for 174 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry, and also threw for 64 yards and a touchdown.

Ross Knapp Delivers Best Performance of Season
Fort Bragg was led to victory by Ross Knapp, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Knapp picked up 192 receiving yards and a touchdown. The performance once again pushed his average receiving yardage north of 100 yards per game (113.2).
This year, Knapp has caught 4 touchdowns while averaging 113.2 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two receiving touchdowns.
