Tulia got a massive performance out of Jacob Trevino, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-4. Those three stolen bases gave Trevino a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of David Molina, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one triple.
Tulia was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as River Road only posted a batting average of .118.
Meanwhile, Childress came up short against Bushland on Tuesday, falling 12-5. The Bobcats have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meetings.
Childress saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drake Rabe, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
