If Waynesfield-Goshen wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hardin Northern, they should've done a better job of containing Alaina Thomas. The Polar Bears blew past the Tigers 3-0 on Thursday thanks in part to Thomas, who had 14 digs and three aces. Thomas is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-7.

The win made it two in a row for Hardin Northern and bumps their season record up to 5-5. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Hardin Northern will be playing at home against Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Polar Bears are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Waynesfield-Goshen, they will take on Indian Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
