Softball Recap: Rahway Snags Eighth Victory in Last Ten Games

Rahway won against Roselle on Monday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Indians didn't even let the Plainfield Cardinals on the board, marking the Indians' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Rahway got a massive performance out of Amanda Lebers, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Emily Garcia, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Rahway always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .647. They are a perfect 12-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Rahway has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Plainfield, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rahway will venture away from home to face off against Elizabeth at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Plainfield, they will head out to take on Montgomery at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
