Churubusco was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight  loss. They took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fremont. Churubusco was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Fremont earlier this season, when they won  3-0.
 Kelsee Coil paced Churubusco's offense, picking up ten kills. Coil got some help from  Alyssa Marks and her 11 assists.
Churubusco's defeat dropped their record down to 7-22. As for Fremont,  with the  win, they broke their four-match losing streak and moved their record to 6-20.
 The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Churubusco will challenge Westview at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Fremont, they will face off against Fort Wayne Canterbury at 7:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
