It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Mount Dora Christian Academy had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 17-1 margin over the First Academy Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 13 contests by seven runs or more so far this season.
Trinity DeVries was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk).
