After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Boca Raton, the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North 60-16 on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-7.
Gwynn Park's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reagan Mason , who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for Mason. Another player making a difference was Davis Geormaya, who scored ten points.
Gwynn Park now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.
Gwynn Park will take on Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, they will head out on the road to face off against Friendly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Friendly focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Monday.
