The Bellefonte Raiders will challenge the Tyrone Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bellefonte's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Clearfield 10-0. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Bison recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Zach Lehman was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Lehman was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Evan Mattern, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Cameron Lucas was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Tyrone was able to grind out a solid victory over Mount Union on Friday, taking the game 7-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Eagles.
B McClure spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits.
On the hitting side, L Hamer was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was C McClure, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Bellefonte came out on top in a nail-biter against Tyrone when the teams last played back in March of 2024, sneaking past 7-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bellefonte since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
