Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Monticello Buckaroo, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They took a 35-20 bruising from Rich on Saturday. Monticello's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Rich was led to victory by Jaden Desch and Carter Hoffman. Desch picked up 156 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while Hoffman rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns. Desch's longest reception was for an incredible 78 yards.
Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Rich, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
Monticello does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rich also has no future games currently scheduled.
