West Albany is a perfect 10-0 against Crescent Valley since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Redhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Gabriella Young 2027 spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Campbell Akers 2027 was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Meritt Forney 2025, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Crescent Valley hadn't done well against Corvallis recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Raiders blew past the Spartans 21-12. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.
The team relied heavily on Abby Kessler, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Alina Beasley also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
West Albany's record now sits at 6-11. As for Crescent Valley, their record is now 5-12.
Crescent Valley's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. West Albany has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Crescent Valley, though, as they've been averaging only 2.5 strikeouts. Will West Albany keep running through batters, or will the Raiders buck the trend?
West Albany took their win against Crescent Valley in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 11-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
