McMillan was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Will Thomas was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Devin Odoms, who  went 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Thomasville's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 9-4. Those victories were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.3 runs per game. As for Excel, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.
