 Despite the  defeat, Spring Valley had strong showings from  Tate Adkins, who  scored 19 points along with eight  rebounds, and  Keyan Grayson, who  scored 13 points along with eight  assists and eight  rebounds. It was the first time this season that  Grayson  pulled down eight or more  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colton Caldwell, who  scored 11 points along with eight  rebounds.
 Spring Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 19-7. As for Huntington, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won seven of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record  this season.
 Spring Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Huntington is on the road again  on Friday and plays Morgantown at 9:30  a.m.  on March 15th. Morgantown knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past 17 matches -- so hopefully Huntington likes a good challenge.
