Northwestern extended the longest winning streak in Baltimore City Division II this week by beating Forest Park, 24-6. The victory was the seventh in a row for the Wildcats.
Du Bois and Southside Academy played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Du Bois eventually emerging with a 14-12 victory.
Lewis' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Falcons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tayvon Queen has thrown for 889 yards and 13 touchdowns this season, while Earl McNair has 16 catches for 513 yards. Donnie Neal leads the league in rushing with 1004 yards.
A big matchup in Baltimore City Division II this week will be when Northwestern takes on the Panthers. Eric Woodson's team is currently in first, while Du Bois is in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Wildcats take on Daryl Jackson's team. Northwestern has allowed 34 points this season, while the Panthers have given up 87. The Wildcats allowed 6 points last week as they defeated the Foresters.
Lewis took down Bluford Drew Jemison Academy/Civitas 64-22 last week, the largest margin of any game. Queen threw for 131 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 12 yards in the win.
