Liberty is 1-8 against Osceola since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Monday.  Even though they lost, Liberty was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tohopekaliga only posted a  batting average of  .292.
 Meanwhile, Osceola fell victim to a  rough 11-2 defeat at the hands of Sumner  on Thursday. Osceola has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
  Faith Ferrer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-3 with a  home run and a  stolen base.  Destiny Ferrer was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 Liberty's record is now 6-8. As for Osceola, they now  have a losing record at 6-7.
 Liberty might still be hurting after the  12-6 loss they got from Osceola  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023. Can Liberty avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
