Adelson's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 51-12 loss at the hands of GV Christian. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Adelson has scored all season.
GV Christian found their leader in underclassman Nick Madsen, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Deomani Loveland, who scored 13 points.
Adelson bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for GV Christian, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Adelson will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on White Pine at 3:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. GV Christian will take on Maranatha in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Monday at. Maranatha is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
