Lincoln-Way Central is on a 16-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Beecher is on a 29-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Knights will host the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Lincoln-Way Central 1.8, Beecher 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Lincoln-Way Central hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Beecher struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Lincoln-Way Central beat Beecher 5-1 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
