Springfield Renaissance found their leader in underclassman Sy'Nye Baker , who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for her. Maya Ocana-saunders was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Springfield Renaissance pushed their record up to 9-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 44.67 points. As for Pioneer Valley Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Springfield Renaissance will take on Southwick Regional at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pioneer Valley Regional, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against McCann Tech at 7:00 p.m.
