It was another big night for Raelynn Nickel, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 32 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrie Parrish, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 16 rebounds.
Vision smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in 12 consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Notus had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They snuck past North Star with a 30-26 win on Friday.
Notus' win came from a few key players Vision will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Libni Vargas, who posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Victoria Zamora, who had three points and six assists.
Vision is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.6 points per game. As for Notus, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-12.
Tuesday's game is shaping up to be a scrappy matchup: Vision has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 41.4 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Notus, though, as they've been averaging only 14.6 boards. Given Vision's sizable advantage in that area, Notus will need to find a way to close that gap.
Vision was dealt a bruising 55-24 defeat at the hands of Notus in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. Will Vision have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
