Citrus Hill entered their tilt with Patriot on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They took down the Patriot Warriors 73-55. While the Hawks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Citrus Hill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jerren White out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. White also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Citrus Hill is undefeated when he posts at least three steals, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Kannon Steward, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals.

Citrus Hill is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Patriot, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Citrus Hill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against West Valley at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Patriot will take on Hillcrest in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
