Freedom Christian Academy walked away with an 82-71 win over Wayne Preparatory Academy. For Freedom Christian Academy, this counts as revenge for the 62-51 loss Wayne Preparatory Academy walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Leading Freedom Christian Academy to victory were Noa Von Pine and Karsten Swinney. Von Pine scored 22 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Swinney scored 32 points along with eight assists and five rebounds. Swinney hasn't dropped below two steals for 16 straight games. Haidyn Bell was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Despite the loss, Wayne Preparatory Academy still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Thomas, who scored 25 points along with eight rebounds and seven assists. Thomas is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gavin Proctor, who scored 12 points.
Freedom Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-11 record this season. As for Wayne Preparatory Academy, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

As for Wayne Preparatory Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Eastern Wayne at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Wayne will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
