The Agoura Chargers had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against Burroughs on Friday as Agoura made off with a 42-18 victory. The score was close at the half, but Agoura pulled away in the second half with 28 points.
Agoura's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harrison Novak, who threw for 271 yards and five touchdowns while completing 73.1% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Miles Hull did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 176 receiving yards and a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Burroughs lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ethan Hubbell. Despite the final result, he picked up 172 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Hubbell's longest reception was for an incredible 93 yards.
Agoura's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Burroughs, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-2.
Agoura does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Burroughs also has no future games currently scheduled.
