Trinity Academy came tearing into Thursday's match with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Conway Springs Cardinals a 14-0 shutout. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.

Trinity Academy pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Conway Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-11.
