Park School won the last time they faced Chapelgate Christian Academy and things went their way on Monday too. The Bruins blew past the Yellowjackets 9-1. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Seth Katz and Alex Mahn made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Katz tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Meanwhile, Mahn pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. At the plate, Katz went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double, while Mahn went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Mahn has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Max Rogers, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Alec Abel, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Park School was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Park School is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Chapelgate Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 4-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Park School will face off against Sts. Peter & Paul at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bruins are facing the Sabres at the right time seeing as the Sabres are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. Chapelgate Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
