The Kenston Bombers will take on the Chagrin Falls Tigers at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday. Kenston will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
If Kenston beats Chagrin Falls with 45 points on Saturday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Kenston came out on top against Mayfield by a score of 45-34 on Wednesday.

Kenston got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aurora Young out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave Young a new career-high in points. Emily Grubich was another key player, putting up eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Kenston smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Chagrin Falls over Hawken in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Chagrin Falls blew Hawken out of the water with a 50-11 final score. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 21 points or more this season.
Kenston better focus on containing Lilly Stukus and Avery Russell as the pair were huge in Chagrin Falls' win. Stukus went 7 of 17 on her way to 20 points and three steals, while Russell almost dropped a double-double on nine assists and nine blocks. Another player making a difference was Abby Kay, who posted six points and five steals.
Chagrin Falls is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.8 points per game. As for Kenston, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-7.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Kenston has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 28.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Chagrin Falls struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Kenston came up short against Chagrin Falls in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 44-36. Can Kenston avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
