Cape Henlopen found their leader in underclassman Amalia Fruchtman, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Faith Re, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Sussex Tech bumped their record down to 5-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Cape Henlopen, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Sussex Tech took a serious blow against Cape Henlopen when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 64-27.
