Fans got a thrill when Josh Stilley and Carl Tucker connected against Lake Norman. The longest such play in 4A Conference 5 this season, the connection resulted in 64 yards.
North Mecklenburg moved up to 94 from 133 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Vikings climbed the ranks as a result of topping East Mecklenburg 47-8.
Hough's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Stilley threw for 269 and 4 touchdowns and Tucker had 104 yards receiving. On the ground Will McIntyre chipped in 71 yards. Caleb Hines helped Hough's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 89 yards.
