Preston Mitchell Delivers Electric Effort Vs Jo Byrns
Starting off the list is Houston County's Preston Mitchell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mitchell rushed for 271 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 16.9 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.

The victory for McKenzie keeps them at an undefeated 9-0. Surber and McKenzie are on the road again on Friday to play West Carroll at 7:00 p.m.

Mcewen Gets a Boost from Ross in 42-20 Victory
Jesse Ross was instrumental in extending McEwen's winning streak to four on Friday. Ross turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 68 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
McEwen's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Ross will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Houston County on Friday.
