Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shining Light Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alik Lewis, who scored 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lewis has scored at least 25% of Shining Light Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Adams, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Veritas Christian Academy's defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1. As for Shining Light Academy, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
