The Parkview Christian Academy Falcons's four-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They escaped with a win against Leland by the margin of a single free throw, 46-45. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Parkview Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2020.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkview Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landon Malkowski, who scored nine points along with 16 rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was James Jefferson, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Parkview Christian Academy's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13. As for Leland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
Parkview Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Families of Faith Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Leland, they will head out on the road to face off against Earlville at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Earlville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
