Volleyball Recap: C.B. Aycock Comes Up Short

C.B. Aycock lost against Southern Nash back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Golden Falcons came up short against the Firebirds, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-21, 25-12.

Defeat or not, C.B. Aycock got some senior leadership from Ava Jenkins and Ella Moyer. Jenkins had six digs and two aces, while Moyer had 15 digs. Moyer is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

C.B. Aycock's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Southern Nash, they pushed their record up to 13-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

C.B. Aycock wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Northern Nash on the 25th. As for Southern Nash, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Fike on the 25th.
