Grand Blanc hasn't had much luck against Davison recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Bobcats will host the Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Davison will be up against a hot Grand Blanc squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. The Bobcats blew past Saginaw United 50-6 on Friday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-0.

Jake Morrow had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 223 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes, and also punching in one TD on the ground. That's the most passing touchdowns he has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Micah Kemp, who picked up 117 receiving yards and three scores.
Grand Blanc's run defense was locked in: Saginaw United could only muster 3.2 yards per carry. The team can thank Robert Giles for the heroic effort on defense: he. Grand Blanc didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.9.
Grand Blanc's defense also made the game a nightmare for the opposing QB, racking up 11 sacks. It was truly a group effort as Caleb Hill, Giles, Jayden Sloan, and Allen Frank picked up two apiece. Sloan also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with seven.
Meanwhile, Davison got themselves on the board against Carman-Ainsworth on Friday, but Carman-Ainsworth never followed suit. They breezed past the Cavaliers to the tune of 58-0. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
Grand Blanc better focus on containing Tyanthony Lewis and Jaxson Dosh as the pair were huge in Davison's win. Lewis gained 91 total yards and three touchdowns, while Dosh threw for 111 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes. Lewis is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Davison, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Cortez Porter, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Grand Blanc's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Davison, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Grand Blanc has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 193 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Davison struggles in that department as they've been averaging 227 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Grand Blanc didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Davison in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, but they still walked away with a 55-49 win. Do the Bobcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Cardinals turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
