Carson Lang went supernova for Oak Harbor, rushing for 198 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also picking up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown. Dominic Espinoza was another key contributor, rushing for 59 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Shorewood's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 8.8 points per game. As for Oak Harbor, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6.
Shorewood will take on Nathan Hale at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
