Talawanda had won three straight home games and Lance Cantrell did his part to make it four on Friday. The Brave simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northwest Knights 35-3 for which the team can thank Cantrell, who rushed for 176 yards and three touchdowns. Cantrell is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 127 every time he's taken the field this season.

Talawanda didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kemper McAfee and Windon Lowe.

Talawanda's record is now 7-0. As for Northwest, they moved to 3-4 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Talawanda will welcome Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest, they will face off against Dunbar at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
