The Eastside Tigers won the last time they faced the Mastery Warrior, and things went their way on Friday too. Eastside claimed a resounding 101-20 victory over Mastery at home. With Eastside ahead 49-15 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Glenmore King, who scored 17 points along with six steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalen Long, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Eastside's victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0. As for Mastery, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastside will face off against Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seneca and Eastside are at an even 4-4 over their past eight head-to-heads. As for Mastery, they will head out on the road to face off against Solebury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Solebury focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up five on Thursday.
