Williamsport has gone 8-2 against Shikellamy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Millionaires will be playing at home against the Braves at 4:30 p.m. Williamsport is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
On Saturday, Williamsport didn't have quite enough to beat Liberty and fell 13-12. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (ten), the Millionaires still had to take the loss.

Grant Vilello stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Williamsport's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-3 when he doesn't). Camden March was another key player, getting on base in five of his six plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Shikellamy didn't have quite enough to beat Line Mountain on Thursday and fell 9-8. The Braves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Justin Zeigler was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. That's the fewest earned runs he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That double was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Chayse Snyder was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Shikellamy's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Williamsport, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Shikellamy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Williamsport has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Shikellamy, though, as they've been averaging 9 hits. Given Williamsport's sizable advantage in that area, the Braves will need to find a way to close that gap.
Williamsport took their victory against Shikellamy in their previous meeting on April 4th by a conclusive 11-0 score. Do the Millionaires have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Braves turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
