Mojave unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 34-28 to the Foothill Falcons on Friday.

A big part of Foothill's win came down to the chemistry between Ryder Dobbs and his top target Braxton Bonnett. Dobbs threw for 161 yards and three TDs on only 15 passes while Bonnett picked up 182 receiving yards and a pair of scores. That's the most receiving yards Bonnett has posted since back in September of 2024.
The victory got Foothill back to even at 1-1.
