Deandre Montgomery Turns in Season-Best Performance
Deandre Montgomery produced his most outstanding game to date while leading North Side to the win on Thursday. Montgomery rushed for 133 yards and four touchdowns. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023.
This season, Montgomery has averaged 7.2 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 3.2 receiving yards per game.

A Season-Best Performance from Kaeden Grant Leads Arlington Heights over Polytechnic
On Friday, Arlington Heights got the W thanks in part to Kaeden Grant playing the best football he has all season. Grant threw for 161 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.
The victory for Arlington Heights keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Grant will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Saginaw on Thursday.

Carson James Goes Supernova in Arlington Heights Victory
Carson James was instrumental in extending Arlington Heights's winning streak to six on Friday. James was unstoppable, rushing for 102 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
Polytechnic's probably not too fond of James given he always seems to get the better of them. James rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries the last time he and the Parrots duked it out back in September of 2023.

Paschal Gets a Boost from Thomas in 37-8 Victory
Rounding off our Top Five is Jashaun Thomas of Paschal. Thomas threw for 228 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 48 yards and a touchdown.
The win was the fourth in a row for Paschal, bringing their record for this year to 4-1. Thomas and Paschal will head out on the road to face off against Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
