It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Evan Blair came into the game on a mission. Nobody could stop he as he rushed for 161 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Glenn is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4. Blair and Glenn have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Cedar Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Garrett Peitz's big game helped extend Leander's winning streak to three on Friday. Peitz turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up five receiving yards.

Ty Blair's Big Game Can't Quite Lead East View over Cedar Park
Ty Blair posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Thursday. He threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.8% of his passes, and also rushed for 115 yards on only 14 carries. He is becoming a predictor of East View's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is undefeated (and 0-3 when he doesn't).
East View's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3. Blair's next matchup is against Georgetown on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.
