The Plattsburgh Hornets will head out on the road to face off against the Saranac Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Plattsburgh is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
Plattsburgh pushed their score all the way to 59 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Saranac Lake by a score of 61-59.
Meanwhile, Saranac strolled past Schroon Lake with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 58-44. The win made it back-to-back wins for Saranac.
Plattsburgh's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Saranac, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.
Everything went Plattsburgh's way against Saranac when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as Plattsburgh made off with a 74-49 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Plattsburgh since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
