The Castlewood Warriors pushed their score all the way to 56 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell  67-56 to Deubrook. Castlewood was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Deubrook apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  back in December of 2022.
 Castlewood lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Gracie Haug, who  scored 11 points.  Sophia Kudrna was another key contributor,  scoring 16 points along with six  rebounds.
 This is  the second loss in a row for Castlewood and  nudges their season record down to 7-11. As for Deubrook, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-11.
 Castlewood will play host again and welcome Sioux Valley, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Deubrook, they won't have much time to rest: their next  contest is against Colman-Egan at 6:30  p.m.  on February 9th.
