After a string of four wins, the Calumet Christian Patriots's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 43-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of La Lumiere. Calumet Christian has struggled against La Lumiere recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Calumet Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Makenna Landkrohn, who scored 13 points along with nine rebounds. Calla Ogden was another key contributor, scoring five points along with ten rebounds.
Calumet Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for La Lumiere, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3.
Calumet Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Portage Christian at 5:15 p.m. on February 12th. As for La Lumiere, they will head out on the road to take on Lake Forest Academy at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday.
