The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. Pius X, who took down 197th ranked O'Hara, 20-19.
Clinton extended the longest winning streak in West Central this week by beating Warrensburg, 27-6. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Smith-Cotton's dynamic duo of Dakota Brown and Caleb Stathem proved tough for Center to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Brown threw for 24 yards and Stathem had 16 yards receiving. Seth Redford helped Smith-Cotton's passing attack out by catching one ball for eight yards.
Chris Sidfrid was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 202 yards on 35 carries as Clinton fell to the Yellowjackets. Teammate Jason Abernathy added to the ground attack by rushing for 114 yards.
The Warriors' Grant Gavin and Bennie Palmentere have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Gavin has thrown for 943 yards this season, while Palmentere, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 23 catches for 304 yards. Sidfrid from Chris Smoot's team leads the league in rushing with 1702 yards.
Two of the top units in West Central will face off this week when the Cardinals take on Center. Clinton's offense has recorded 190 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Bryan DeLong's team has permitted only 55 on the year.
