The Memorial Red Devils will head out on the road to take on the LaBrae Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorial is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Memorial can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 77-50 win over Brookfield at home. Given Memorial's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 313th, while the Warriors are ranked 664th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
David Moore was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last eight times he's played. Another player making a difference was Teyon Harris, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, LaBrae waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They breezed by Liberty at home to the tune of 75-34.
Memorial is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for LaBrae, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
Memorial came up short against the Vikings in their previous meeting back in January, falling 52-41. Can Memorial avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
