Basketball Recap: Newton Extends Winning Streak to Four

Newton waltzed into their game on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-48 victory over the Kemper County Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 42-40 last Tuesday.

Newton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2. As for Kemper County, their loss dropped their record down to 11-5.

Newton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Kemper County will take on Northeast Lauderdale in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
